Hi - I’m Angelica - founder of Kismet K9 services, along with my husband, Will!
With both an undergraduate and master’s degree in accounting, I’ve always been detail-oriented and hardworking. But my true passion? Animals - especially dogs.
I grew up riding horses, competed in college & still ride to this day - which taught me patience, discipline, and the power of connection between human and animals.
At 19 years old, I brought home a Rottweiler named Rousey - and everything changed. She became my soul dog, my shadow, and the greatest ambassador for the breed I could have ever imagined.
Because of the stigma surrounding Rottweilers, I became fiercely determined to make sure Rousey was exceptionally trained. I felt like she had to be better than other dogs - not just for her safety, but to prove that breed does not define behavior. That drive to advocate for misunderstood dogs planted the seed for what would eventually become Kismet K9 services.
Today, my work is rooted in compassion, balance and deep respect for animals. I believe having a well-trained dog, enables them to have more freedom and thus a better quality of life - that is why i do it. At Kismet K9 training you will get the boutique feel you want, with the professionalism needed. I treat each dog with the same love and care I provide my own.
Rousey passed away in 2024 at the age of 10. In honor of Rousey’s legacy, Kismet K9 services trains one shelter dog a month, completely free, to help them be the best version of themselves in the hopes that they will find their forever home a little sooner.
